냉담-무정서 특질은 청소년의 낮은 정서적 반응성과 관련이 있다. 그러나 이전 연구는 주로 부정적인 자극에 대한 반응성에 초점을 맞추었기 때문에 긍정적인 자극에 대한 반응성이 또한 영향을 받는지는 분명하지 않았다. 현재의 연구 결과는 냉담-무정서 특질이 청소년의 부정적인 자극과 긍정적인 자극에 대한 정서적 반응성을 낮추는 것과 관련이 있음을 보여준다. 이 연구의 목적은 품행장애의 대표적인 특질 주의 하나로 밝혀지고 있는 냉담-무정서 특질과 정서 반응성과의 연관성을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 품행장애의 특성, 냉담-무정서 특질과 품행 문제, 냉담-무정서 특질과 정서 반응성과의 관계와 관련한 선행연구들을 검토함으로써 품행장애의 관리 및 지도에 기초 자료로 활용하기 위함이다. 현재까지 수행된 냉담-무정서 특질과 정서 반응성 관련 선행연구의 검토를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 내린다. 첫째, 냉담-무정서 특질이 긍정적인 자극과 부정적인 자극 모두에 대해 정서 반응성을 낮추는 것과 차원적으로 관련이 있음을 보여준다. 즉, 부정적인 상황뿐만 아니라 긍정적인 상황에 대한 참여와 반응의 부족은 냉담-무정서 특질 및 관련 결과에 연관될 수 있다. 둘째, 냉담-무정서 특질과 정서적 반응성 사이의 관계가 발달에 따라 변한다는 것을 보여준다. 이러한 발견은 냉담-무정서 특질 수준이 높은 아동 및 청소년을 위한 중재방법을 구안하는데 있어 중요할 수 있다.

| Callous-unemotional traits are associated with low emotional reactivity in adolescents. However, it is not clear whether responsiveness to positive stimuli is also affected, as previous studies have mainly focused on responsiveness to negative stimuli. The present study results show that callous-unemotional traits are associated with lower emotional responsiveness to negative and positive stimuli in adolescents. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between the callous-unemotional trait and emotional reactivity, which are revealed as one of the representative traits of conduct disorder. To this end, by reviewing previous studies related to the relationship between the characteristics of conduct disorder, callous-unemotional traits and behavior problems, and callous-unemotional traits and emotional reactivity, it is intended to be used as basic data for the management and guidance of conduct disorder. The following conclusions are drawn through a review of previous studies on callous-unemotional traits and emotional reactivity conducted so far. First, we show that callous-unemotional traits are dimensionally related to lowering emotional reactivity to both positive and negative stimuli. That is, a lack of participation and responsiveness to positive as well as negative situations may be associated with callous-unemotional traits and related outcomes. Second, we show that the relationship between callous-unemotional traits and emotional reactivity changes with development. These findings could be important in designing interventions for children and adolescents with high levels of callous-unemotional traits. |
