이 연구는 작업기억 용량과 정신운동속도의 상관관계 그리고 작업기억 용량과 억제능력의 상관관계를 알아보는 연구이다. 이 연구는 경남과 전남의 만 6세에서 13세 10개월까지 남·여 아동들 60명을 대상으로 개인별 3가지 검사를 실시하였다. 작업기억 용량을 평가하기 위해 K-WISC-Ⅳ검사의‘숫자’소 검사를 실시하였다. 정신운동속도를 측정하기 위해 CCTT검사를 실시하였다. 억제능력을 평가하기 위해 STROOP검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 작업기억 용량과 정신운동속도는 부적 상관관계를 가졌다. 작업기억 용량과 억제능력은 정적 상관관계를 가졌다. 60명에 한정된 연구지만, 이 연구를 통해 작업기억 용량이 높으면 과제를 처리하는 속도가 빠르고, 작업기억 용량이 높으면 충동성을 조절하는 억제능력이 좋을 수 있음을 평가결과와 선행연구들을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 작업기억과 관련한 ADHD 심리운동 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 의의가 있다.
영문초록
This study is to investigate the correlation between working memory capacity and psychomotor speed, and between working memory capacity and inhibitory ability. In this study, three tests were conducted individually for 60 male and fe- male children aged 6 to 13 years and 10 months in Gyeongnam and Jeollanam-do. In order to evaluate the working memory capacity, the K-WISC-IV test's "number" cow test was conducted. The CCTT test was per- formed to measure the psychomotor speed. STROOP test was performed to eval- uate the inhibitory ability. The research results are as follows. First, there was a negative correlation between working memory capacity and psychomotor speed. Working memory capacity and inhibition capacity had a positive correlation. Although this study is limited to 60 people, it is confirmed through evaluation results and previous studies that if the working memory capacity is high, the task processing speed is fast, and if the working memory capacity is high, the inhibitory ability to control impulse can be good. Could. This study has sig- nificance in providing basic data for developing ADHD psychomotor program re- lated to working memory.
